Our CSA season runs from early June till the end of October (possible 21 week season).
We hope to start the CSA on June 6th or 13th. We’ll be in touch about the anticipated start day as we get closer to that time.
Payment is broken up into two instalments, which is detailed below.
Please contact us if you need us to break the payments down further and would like to discuss other payment options.
On or before the first box day, please tell us about any pick-up days that you will be away; you will not have to pay for those boxes in your lump-sum.
If other vacation/work plans come up after you’ve made your payment and you can’t get a friend or family member to pick up your box for you, please contact us up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up. We can cancel your box for the day you’ll be away and give you a credit to use at the market or towards a future box.
Pick up is on TUESDAYS, from 4:30pm – 6 pm, outside, at the back of the NORTH side of the House of James bookstore at 2743 Emerson St., Abbotsford.
Our CSA box program runs from early June till October 31st. (21 possible weeks).
First payment is due before picking up your first box and covers boxes from June 6 till August 22nd. There is no box on Aug.29th.
Regular box: $30 / week x 12 weeks = $360 (then minus the $30 deposit)
Large box: $40 / week x 12 weeks = $480 (then minus the $30 deposit)
Second payment day is on or before August 22nd and covers boxes from Sept.5 till Oct.31.
Regular box: $30 / week x 9 weeks = $270
Large box: $40 / week x 9 weeks = $360
Please bring a bag or box with you to bring your vegetables home in.
What if I forget to pick up my box? (missed box policy)
We send out a reminder email the morning of a box pick-up day to help you remember but will not issue a refund if you miss picking up your box during the allotted times.
Thank you for understanding that, due to time constraints, we are unable to accommodate making alternate pick-up arrangements for unclaimed boxes. Your box will be given to someone, or consumed by our family or other farm helpers.
How do I sign up?
Click the “Sign up for our CSA” button at the bottom of the page to reserve your spot and pay your deposit.
-At the check out you’ll need to select the pick up day of June 6, even though the boxes could start at a later date (we’ll keep you posted).
-In the “Order Notes” please list: if you are a new or returning CSA member and include the name, phone and email for anyone you sharing the box with (so they get our reminder & ‘in your box’ emails).
-The non-refundable deposit will be subtracted from the first payment due in June.
-Once we receive your deposit, we will confirm your spot in our 2023 CSA via email and you can look forward to some great eating down the road. It may take a few days for me to get your confirmation email sent out — thanks for your patience.
